THE EXCITING WORLD OF EXOPLANETS

Thursday, July 25, 2019 - 6:30pm to 7:30pm

Exoplanets, or planets in other solar systems, are the fastest-growing topic in astronomy. This lecture provides an overview of the science: how astronomers detect them, the latest findings of the field, as well as a discussion on the possibility of life elsewhere in the Universe. Please bring curiosity, an open mind, and any exoplanet-related questions! Presented by Mark Giovinazzi. Registration Required.
