Beginning today, the library will accept non-perishable food items in lieu of fines for overdue books (DVDs excluded) from September, 2015, and LATER. Patrons may bring in one canned good/nonperishable food item for each overdue book being returned. Only non-expired and clean items will be accepted. The food items will be distributed to needy families in the community and will be accepted until December 31, 2015.
