TO BEE OR NOT TO BEE? THAT IS THE QUESTION.

Monday, September 28, 2015 - 6:30pm to 7:30pm

September is National Honey Month! Local beekeeper and former Franklinville teacher Barry Glogau will discuss the basics of beekeeping: how to build equipment, the social lives of bees and maintaining bee health. He will also illustrate how he extracts honey from the hives and bottles it for sale. If time allows, Glogau will discuss possible reasons for Colony Collapse Disorder (CCD) which has been in the news for the past few years. A Q & A session will follow the lecture. Open to all ages. Registration is required. Please call the library to register. (856) 694-2833
