Beginning November 3 and ending December 31, the library will be accepting non-perishable food items in lieu of fines for overdue books (DVDs excluded) from September, 2014, and LATER. Patrons may bring in one new canned good/non-perishable item for each overdue book being returned. Only non-expired and clean items will be accepted. The food items will be distributed to needy families in the community.
